Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Trade Finance Officer to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end processing of Trade Finance transactions, ensuring they are handled accurately, efficiently and in full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and international banking standards.

Key Responsibiities

Process the full spectrum of documentary trade transactions including Letter of Credit issuances/amendments,
Export documents checking and coordinate with customers on discrepancies, Letter of Credit Negotiations and


Discounting, Acceptances and payments, Letter of Credit Reimbursements and Import/Export collections


Stand-by Letter of Credit/Guarantees issuances and any related claims/payments Processing of Trust receipts and invoice financing loans, ensuring full compliance with internal policies Construct SWIFT messages, specifically Swift Category 7 and Category 2

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Trade Finance operations or a related area Familiarity with UCP600, ISBP745, URR725, URDG758, ISP98 Good understanding of AML/CFT and sanctions controls relating to Trade Finance transactions Mature and meticulous individual with good communication skills Able to work independently under minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities effectively Proficiency in MS Office applications
