What you'll be doing

Planning and assigning of daily transportation schedules

Responsible for operations after official working hour to ensure smooth deliverance

Managing our customer service operation at our Batam and Bintan office

Responsible for all weekly vessels schedule

Responsible for all daily depot processes and operations for the next subsequent day

Informing our customers of the container details

Ensuring all additional charges are being accounted accordingly

Proactively getting updates for all container status

Act as the contingency for the main traffic controller in their absence

Processing of discharged containers

Booking of Escorts for the vessel and handling permits for LTA Oversized cargo

Other ad-hoc duties as tasked by Reporting Officer

What we're looking for

At least 2 years of experience as a Traffic Controller or in a similar role within the logistics or distribution industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with traffic management systems, equipment, and safety protocols Good knowledge of the relevant regulations and laws governing traffic management in the logistics sector Proficient in the use of relevant software and technology for traffic control and monitoring A team player with a strong focus on safety and efficiency

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,200.00 per month
