Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Traffic Controller in SH Cogent Logistics Pte Ltd. The Traffic Controller will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing the movement of containers via land transportation, ensuring timely deliveries, efficient route planning, and effective communication with drivers and clients.
Manage trucking activities to fulfil customers' delivery requirement
Provide real-time updates on job progress in the system
Monitor truck and delivery status to optimize resources
Coordinate container trucking consignments with Prime Mover Drivers and customers
Ensure the accuracy of driver incentives for drivers
Perform counselling to Prime Mover Drivers when necessary
Requirements
Nitec or equivalent qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, transportation, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in deployment of drivers for trucking of containers / loose cargo jobs.
Strong understanding of land transportation regulations, routes, and logistical considerations in Singapore.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with drivers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
