Happi is seeking a Traffic Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispatching prime movers, managing container trucking assignments, and ensuring timely, efficient, and cost-effective deliveries. You will play a key role in optimizing route planning and maintaining clear communication between drivers, customers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and assign container trucking jobs to Prime Mover Drivers.
Ensure all deliveries are completed on schedule and meet customer expectations.
Provide real-time job status updates through the system.
Monitor truck movements to optimize fleet utilization and resource deployment.
Liaise with drivers and customers to ensure smooth operations.
Verify driver incentive claims and ensure accuracy in records.
Conduct counseling or guidance sessions with drivers when needed.
Support other logistics functions and tasks as assigned.
Requirements
At least 1 year of relevant experience in driver deployment or trucking operations.
Strong knowledge of local transportation routes, regulations, and procedures.
Good communication and coordination skills; able to work with various stakeholders.
Calm under pressure, organized, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
