Job Description

• 
  Our client is a new business organization under a listed leading IT company from Japan. The role of a Treasury Manager is to manage all the corporate treasury activities, cash management, funding from/to group companies, FX, communication with banking corporations, and other treasury advisory work. You will be reporting to the Head of Finance and Accounting department.
  
  【 What you will be doing 】
  Establish cash management function and manage operations
  
  • Monitoring funding needs in each group company closely and controlling cash position of the group.
  • Making a financial plan, updating cash projection, analyzing actual/forecast vs. plan.
  • Regularly reporting all treasury activities in Symphony group to senior management.
  • Proceeding with necessary procedures for funding from/to group companies collaborating with HQ/Mobile Finance.
  • Communicating and coordinating with banking corporations.
  • Managing day-to-day treasury operations and controls for the Singapore entity.
  • Driving finance-related projects/initiatives across the group.
  
  Control risks and strengthen group governance in Finance areas
  
  • Implementing Treasury/cash management-related policies and rules to all group entities, and monitoring the status of compliance.
  • Controlling bank accounts and Corporate Credit Card in Symphony group together with Treasury team in each entity.
  • Planning initiatives to strengthen group governance in finance areas (incl. a centralized cash management system).
  • Managing FX exposures and hedging risks.
  • Working closely with the business to minimize financial risks, and monitoring/reporting risks.

• Requirement

  
  【 What they are looking for 】
  
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in treasury/finance and/or accounting/audit, especially in the treasury function.
  • Experience with SAP or other general ledger systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Japanese to liaise with Japanese native counterparts.
  • Working industry experience in a Telecom/Technology domain preferred.
  • Experience in managing finance and accounting in a global company and in many international countries is an advantage.
