How will I have an impact?

• As the Commercial Founder / CEO, you\'ll be responsible for taking the venture forward through operationalisation and commericalisation, bringing Rainmaking APAC\xe2\x80\x99s work to life (all whilst critically evaluating and further validating it)
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll deeply embed yourself in the agritech space, creating a scalable Controlled Environment Agriculture solution which has unparalleled potential as an asset class
• To do this, you\xe2\x80\x99ll build a high impact team around you and find effective ways of unlocking all the opportunities available to you through the corporate partner and Rainmaking APAC

Requirements

• You\xe2\x80\x99ll bring entrepreneurial depth having built a number of businesses, either through the corporate route or \xe2\x80\x98in the wild\xe2\x80\x99. You know what execution takes and aren\xe2\x80\x99t afraid to roll your sleeves up
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll bring strong business development experience and commercial acumen required to secure all the partnerships to ensure this model operates effectively
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll already be well embedded in the farming community in Singapore with ready-made relationships in the local fresh produce space, especially offtakers
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll understand the key agri ecosystem players, appreciating the complexity and regulatory landscape. This includes the ability to further secure capital, grants and licenses to fuel the company\'s growth and development
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll be a top class leader who operates with integrity and is able to effectively build and engage teams on this journey
• You have deep problem-solving skills to tackle the macro and the micro. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be skilled with lean startup and broader entrepreneurial methodologies, utilizing as appropriate
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll bring a baseline understanding of agricultural technology and IoT solutions

• You\xe2\x80\x99re deeply engaged and curious about solving problems within the farming space and will be energized by the opportunity at hand to have tangible impact
• You have a strong appreciation for the need to embrace risk in order to achieve the breakthroughs that solve the biggest challenges and an ability to navigate the complexity and pitfalls in doing so
• You\xe2\x80\x99re highly credible, instantly holding your own in complex discussions with wide-ranging stakeholders and ecosystem players in the agri-space, or closely mappable industries
• You have innate strength of leadership, with the ability to build, manage and inspire entrepreneurial teams
• You have top class organizational skills, are ruthless in allocation of time and resources in pursuit of outcomes and progress, coupled with the patience to see this through
• You effectively create followership, both within your team and across stakeholder ecosystems more broadly

Benefits

You will report to the newly created venture board and will have an equity component to your compensation. Whilst you won\'t directly be employed by Rainmaking APAC, we will partner very closely together on your founding journey and to set you up for success.
