• 
  Our client is one of the leading players in the energy industry and welcomes applicants to join their friendly team as a Vessel Operator. The role is responsible for executing petroleum trading operations and supporting traders
  
  \xe3\x80\x90What you will be working on\xe3\x80\x91
  
  • Coordinate the day-to-day operational activities with suppliers, internal and external customers and team members to ensure the smooth delivery of oil products.
  
  This includes:
  
  • Screen performing vessels
  • Appoint a surveyor and superintendent
  • Prepare or check all necessary documents for international and domestic trades
  • Check vessel itinerary and report it to relevant parties including our refineries
  • Handle invoices
  • Calculate demurrage and issue invoice to the customer
  • File cargo transaction documents
  • Input relevant data into the system in a timely manner
  • Liaise with traders and charterers to ensure that all the contractual obligations arising from cargo deals and charter parties are met.
  • Liaise with the finance team to facilitate smooth invoicing and payment for cargo, freight and all operational expenses.
  • Liaise with charterers to ensure smooth operations, avoid supply disruption and minimize demurrage costs.
  • May be assigned additional tasks not limited to the above-mentioned jobs.

  Requirement

  • Master/Bachelor\'s degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Min 3 years of work experience in vessel operation and/settlement in any industry (Preferably experience in the Oil & Gas or Chemical industry)
  • Proficiency in Japanese language (N2 and above) and English as it involves communication with Japanese counterparts for effective communication
  • Good team player
  • Constructive and proactive attitude

  9:00 ~ 17:30
