As the VP of Marketing at Funding Societies | Modalku, you are a visionary marketing leader that will shape the company\xe2\x80\x99s marketing strategy and direction, positioning the company as an industry leader. You will be partnering closely with key business and tech leaders to develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives to drive our company\'s growth and establish a strong market presence in the fintech industry. You will lead a team of marketing professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, compliance and tech to achieve business objectives.

What you will do:

Marketing Strategy
  • Lead strategic marketing initiatives and mentor a high-performing marketing team across various marketing functions including but not limited to brand and comms, partnerships and campaigns, product and content marketing, events, performance marketing and CRM.
  • Create and implement a strategic marketing plan that aligns with the company\'s business objectives, brand positioning, and target market.
  • Responsible for the full funnel - striking a balance between longer-term strategic brand building activities, mid-term lead generation and nurturing to build a pipeline, as well as quick-wins to achieve targets
  • Plan, develop and deliver \xe2\x80\x9cthrough the line\xe2\x80\x9d multi market campaigns covering PR/media, social/digital, content, events and communications with defined metrics, to drive customer acquisition, retention, revenue and brand awareness.
  • Maximise customer lifetime value by planning and delivering CRM strategies based on customer segmentation to encourage customer retention and loyalty.
Marketing analytics and performance
  • Use data and analytics, create a culture of structured experimentation and iteration to drive growth, optimizing channels to improve performance.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to the executive team on marketing performance and ROI
Marketing Communications
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the company\'s brand identity, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visual representation across all marketing communication channels. Monitor and enforce brand guidelines to maintain a strong and cohesive brand image.
  • Oversee public relations strategies and campaigns to enhance the company\'s reputation and media presence.
  • Develop and deliver an internal communications strategy.
  • Oversee marketing content to produce high-quality content that aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with target audiences.
Team Development
  • Develop and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Partner with the People Experience Team and create robust development programs for the Marketing team in line with the evolving digital lending, payments and neobanking landscape.
  • Build high trust and high credible working relationships with key internal stakeholders across the organization
Requirements

What we are looking for:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a VP or Head of Marketing in the fintech industry
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the digital lending, payments or neobanking industry, including trends, challenges, and regulatory landscape.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to create an build a brand, translate market insights into effective marketing strategies and solve complex problems
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing through the line marketing campaigns and driving customer acquisition and revenue growth
  • Proficiency in digital marketing techniques, tools, and platforms, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and marketing automation
  • Analytical mindset and proficiency in marketing analytics, data-driven decision-making, and performance tracking
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing marketing teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
