Role Description

We are looking for an exceptional, growth-minded, seasoned sales leader looking to get into the most epic role of his/her career: to become Propseller\xe2\x80\x99s rainmaker-in-chief and bring us from US$5m+ to US$25m+ revenue by hyper-scaling our sales team from 25 people today to 150 people, within 24 months. The VP of Sales is in charge of Propseller\xe2\x80\x99s most critical assets: our clients and the revenue they generate. The VP of Sales has the Outside sales team (made of licensed Real Estate Consultants), the Inside sales team (made of Inside Sales Consultants) and their managers reporting to him/her. The VP of Sales is responsible for exceeding revenue targets, hiring, training, coaching, inspiring and leading the sales team, defining the sales strategy and plans, helping team members close more, improving the sales process and tools, shaping a high performance culture and delivering a 7-star experience to our clients.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Recruit the absolute best Real Estate Consultants: build a hiring system to generate applications at scale, know what to look for, convince the best to join;
  • Develop the next level sales strategy and plans: revenue and capacity, customer segmentation, product line up;
  • Help the sales team close more: manage performance, problem solve, coach team members;
  • Build the sales machine: organisation, KPIs, stack, processes, routines, scripts, trainings;
  • Ensure a 7-star client experience: consistently exceed client expectations by delivering the absolute best real estate agency service in the market;
  • Close exceptional deals: exceptionally, show everybody you can still get into the arena!

Ideal Candidate

You spent the last few years overachieving sales targets as a team leader and learning the modern best practices of sales operations and leadership. You worked in companies with stage and deal size similar to ours, which makes your experience valuable. When you watched Moneyball (the movie), you understood what you were doing could be done with sales, but also with sport. You are the Bill Bean of Sales: you are innovative, you make data driven decisions, you are adaptable, you lead by example and you constantly build a system. You are both as warm as a sport coach and as sophisticated as a strategy consultant. You are so proud of the team you\xe2\x80\x99ve built you see no reason to leave it\xe2\x80\xa6 but the idea of going (back) into hyper-scale and having massing impact accelerates your heart beat. You want the most epic story to tell: your calling is to bring the modern sales you learned to the largest of all consumer categories, real estate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor\'s Degree from a top-tier university;
  • 8+ years relevant working experience including 5+ years as a people leader 2+ years leading teams of field reps in a high performing and/or hyper growth company;
  • Demonstrated track record of growing revenue/ARR through scaling and/or sales operations improvement in a high volume, D2C or SMB business;
  • Proven leadership, team management, and coaching skills along with a consistent track record of hiring, developing, motivating and mentoring successful teams;
  • Mastery of modern sales stack and processes and hands-on ability to contribute to its development;
  • High analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Empathy and emotional awareness are required to lead with influence.

Recruiting Process

Ideal length: 3 weeks If your application is selected:
  • Interview 1 - Video Call (1h): Introductory call
  • Case #1 to be prepared at home (~3h)
  • Interview 2 - Physical (2h): Meet with our Head of Propseller Buy and Chief of Staff
  • Interview 3 - Physical (2h): Meet with our CCO and VP of Strategic Initiatives
  • Case #2 to be prepared at home, together with our CEO
  • Interview 4 - Physical (2h): Case presentation to Propseller\xe2\x80\x99s executive team
  • Interview 5 & 6 - 2 x Calls (45 min each): Interviews with 2 of our investors

Compensation

S$250-400k per year total compensation, including share options valued at July 2022 Series A valuation.
