Job Description

1) Implementation of Non-Financial Risk frameworks:

Engaging with various business lines and functions in Asia to embed NFR control standards in day-to-day operations and to adopt NFR reporting system

Coordinating assurance activities including key control testing (testing is performed by shared services hubs) and control evaluation

Facilitating gap analysis and risk assessment to identify risk and improvement for control execution

Advising businesses and functions on NFR matters

2) Employee conduct risks and controls:

Supporting country management as delegate control owners to design and execute controls to mitigate employee conduct/ compliance risks

Providing oversight on issues and completion of NFR activities

Managing NFR reporting system and Management Information on NFR activities

3) Improving execution of Non-Financial Risk activities :

Contributing to regional and global projects on NFR activities

Your Profile

You are hands-on, analytical, pragmatic and problem-solving with an understanding of the regulatory environment in which banks operate.

You have a keen eye for detail.

You have affinity with and are eager to work in Non-Financial Risk Management in the first line of defence.

You have a positive, critical, proactive and result-oriented attitude and are capable of managing changes.

You have outstanding social and communication skills (ability to communicate clearly, effectively and consistently in different contexts and cultures) and are able to work independently. Collaboration and facilitation skills are key in this role.

You deliver timely and high-quality services, work in partnership and are expected to establish long lasting relationships with various stakeholders.

You are transparent, flexible and able to act at operational and tactical level.

Knowledge and Experience

At least a Bachelor Degree (e.g. in Banking, Finance, Law or related discipline).

Good knowledge of Non-Financial Risk and internal control principles and previous experience in risk assessment, control testing, remediation or audit.

Knowledge of wholesale banking products and services.

Ability to deliver under tight timelines and navigate ambiguity.

Experience with working in highly complex international environments.

Good command of spoken and written English.

Ability to build bridges by nature and bridge between different levels, different people and different cultures.
