Job Description

: The Credit Risk Management Team is part of the Private Bank Credit Operations group. This team monitors JPM Private Bank exposures (including loans, mortgages & derivatives) secured by financial assets, such as equities, fixed inco : The Credit Risk Management Team is part of the Private Bank Credit Operations group. This team monitors JPM Private Bank exposures (including loans, mortgages & derivatives) secured by financial assets, such as equities, fixed income products and other asset types. The functions performed by this team are critical to protecting the bank from potential credit losses. Working closely with the Lending Solutions, the team is also responsible for a wide range of functions such as administration and monitoring of PB Asia credit facilities in line with corporate credit policy, review & monitoring of credit covenants, transaction approval and other special monitoring requirements as well as regulatory reporting. Specific Duties Perform and Manage the timely submission of Regulatory reports to HKMA and MAS Ensure compliance with regulations, credit policies and internal guidelines Be accountable for timely delivery of reports to internal stakeholders Provide MIS reports detailing various aspects i.e. exposure, product analytics, collateral breakdown etc. Interpret basic legal credit documentation Perform Covenant monitoring tasks as per documented frequency Liaise with other IPB primary locations i.e Geneva and Edinburgh to share best practices Oversight and coordination with India and Manila teams for outsourced reporting Extended Responsibilities Look for automation opportunities for existing reports using automation tools available Participate in new product implementations and represent Credit team for feasibility Perform UAT and represent Credit team on Regulatory reporting projects Manage and drive initiatives for Reporting and Covenants team Represent Asia team on cross regional forums Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent 1or moreyears of relevant work experience in middle office or control function orfinancial institutions. Demonstrated interest in financial markets and understanding of risk measures Work experience in a credit middle office or control function, or other work experience in private banking a plus Ability to adapt in a fast paced, dynamic and changing team environment Confident and outgoing personality, able to deal directly with the senior stake-holders Knowledge of automation tools viz. Alteryx, Xceptor, Visio a plus Strong solution based problem solving and analytical skills, able to add value rather than just accept the status quo Strong verbal and written communication skills Business level proficiencyin written and spoken Chinese is required as the candidate will be interacting Chinese clients and stakeholders Computer skills: Excel, MS Access, Power Point and Word We're a global company whose primary business language is English and so fluency in spoken and written English is required
