Job Description

Job Purpose

  • Contract management of fleet maintenance contracts to ensure compliance and fulfil customers' expectation.
  • To ensure all vehicles repair and maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the required quality standard and in the most costs efficient manner.
  • To develop a team of technicians with an aim to have a team of multi-skilled workforce.
Responsibilities
  • Manage Fleet maintenance contracts to ensure compliance to contractual requirements and fulfil customers' expectation.
  • Lead a team of staff and in-house contractors to ensure all vehicles repair and maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the required quality standard and in the most costs efficient manner.
  • Develop a team of technicians with an aim to have a team of multi-skilled workforce through job enlargement and job rotation.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports and ensure Key Performance Indicators of the workshop are met.
  • Prepare vehicle technical reports and root cause analysis whenever required.
  • Analysis fleet maintenance data and recommend predictive solution.
  • Develop efficient workflow/ process so that every vehicle that returns to workshop can be put back on service in the shortest time.
  • Perform monthly management presentation to Division and Department Head on the contracts achievement.
  • Prepare annual budget and monitor vehicles repair expenses.
  • Drive workplace safety and KAIZEN initiatives.
Qualifications & Work Experience
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
