Xaxis is looking for a Manager, Operational Excellence to join the APAC Regional Programmatic Trading team for APAC. The Programmatic Trading team at the heart of all Xaxis activity and is pivotal to the success of each campaign that is executed. The team works closely with all other teams within the Xaxis family from Engagement and Analytics to Data and Product. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, enthusiastic and is flexible with embracing changes and new challenges.

Measures of success -

In three months:
  • Gain an in depth understanding of the programmatic landscape
  • Undergo Xaxis Trading Induction training on the various Xaxis platforms and tools and have an understanding of how Xaxis operates
  • Certified on key platforms and technology Xaxis Traders utilise
  • Deep dive into the concepts, language, and skills required to master programmatic advertising
  • Up to speed with the various DSPs beta offerings and formulating test and learn initiatives with local markets
  • Gain rapport with local markets
In six months:
  • Independently work on subject matter topics assigned to provide best practices and learnings to traders
  • Build a deep familiarity with Xaxis outcome value proposition and key business focus - AI, creative, and supply path optimization.
  • Work closely with regional client strategy team to support clients' pitches and growth plan.
  • Act as a technical consultant to support solution creation and development
  • Establish relationships with relevant stakeholders in the local market teams
  • Continue to refine gaps/processes/tools to improve campaign performance and efficiency
In twelve months:
  • Be an integral part of the team and add value in all aspects assigned
  • Be confident to hold training sessions when needed
  • Be expert to provide omni channel campaign strategies
  • Be a trusted advisor to both regional and local markets on Trading queries
  • Be motivated to always Test and Learn, share and seek different optimization tactics and knowledge share with the wider trading team
Responsibilities of the role:

Day to day responsibilities:
  • Cross functional teams' collaboration in global and regional taskforce to represent trading POV
  • Consulting local traders on campaign management, testing framework and case studies
  • Assist in pitch preparation
  • Be the regional POC to your assigned market(s) to address their challenges and initiate process/projects to help them become more efficient
  • Evangelist of trading & operational best practices inclusive of Xaxis' proprietary AI solution to the wider APAC regional community
  • Work closely with our vendors / DSPs to support the pilot solutions testing.
Strategic Responsibilities:
  • Bridge the gap between sales (Engagement) and Trading
  • Be creative - develop and share test and learn campaign optimization strategies to drive learnings and better campaign performance
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and elevate programmatic knowledge of the wider APAC regional community
  • Take an active role in developing broader programmatic strategic recommendations and best practices that can be applied across the whole region
What you will need:
  • 3-5 years professional experience with digital marketing agency, ad network or other digital media company
  • Ability to execute programmatic campaigns with experience including DSPs/SSPs, RTB, ad exchanges, DMPs, audience targeting
  • Applied knowledge of 3rd party ad serving, website tracking and associated technologies
  • Experience managing digital ad campaigns, - display, video, mobile or paid search from implementation, optimisation to reporting
  • Knowledge and passion for digital marketing and Machine Learning: digital display, digital branding, digital direct response, SEM, video & mobile
  • Bachelor's degree in any of these disciplines are welcome - Computer Science/ Information Technology, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related quantitative programs, Marketing, Mass Communications, Arts
  • Result-oriented with strong communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work both independently and under supervision once objectives have been set
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced and multi-cultural team environment
  • Good command in written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment - harvest vast amounts of information, news, data, and research and distill the most important/relevant information for your agency team and their clients.
