  • Develops a long term relationship with existing and potential (international) customers by actively analyzing the market and following up on specifications and agreements.
  • Informs and advises existing and potential customers on products and services that fit their wishes and needs. Maintains contact with relevant persons/departments within that organization.
  • Discusses specific wishes of a customer and presents possibilities.
  • Monitors, identifies and analyzes market developments and sales possibilities of (potential) customers. Discusses sales activities with the Manager.
  • Identifies and solves complaints and problems in approaching the market and customers.
2. Managing the sales process
  • Is responsible for solving problems and complaints and answering questions, et cetera.
  • Maintains contacts within the organization in order to receive (technical) information and support for achieving the sales objectives.
  • Draws up a financial offer, presents this to the manager for approval and carries out follow-up activities.
  • Involves the legal advisors within the organization in contract management.
  • Evaluates the short and long term commercial effects of the sales process and proposes improvements, where needed.
  • Main responsibility sales of Engineered products
3. Carrying out internal duties
  • Managing complex projects.
  • Draws up visit reports and registers contact moments with customers.
  • Identifies problems in the work processes and makes recommendations for improvements.
  • Reports sales and forecast figures to the manager and the Sales Team.
Job requirements Knowledge
  • BSc in refrigeration or HVAC systems and extended knowledge on control systems
  • Extended knowledge of commercial techniques.
  • Knowledge of the organization\xe2\x80\x99s products and services.
  • Knowledge of the market and relevant developments.
  • Excellent command in the English and preferable other modern languages.
Skills
  • Commercial and communication skills for managing a customer network and collaborating with colleagues.
  • Writing skills.
  • Teamworker.
  • Flexibility for dealing with irregular working hours (also during weekends) and travelling.
