Entity: Allianz Insurance Singapore

We are seeking an agent recruiting & training manager to help our business expand by hiring top-notch agents. In this role, you will assist the Head of Agency channel to determine agent recruitment needs and develop hiring strategies to source, attract, train & steer agents. Your duties will include hunting potential sales agent, screening potential agents and onboarding them. You will also be responsible for onboarding & training the agents with the right knowledge needed to do the day to day job. To ensure the success of the hired agents, you will review the performance of the agents and share your analysis/insights with the Head of Agency & management to steer the agent performance.

Responsibilites:

  • Design the company\'s non tied agent hiring strategy based on annual sales targets by product lines
  • Accountable for the agent hiring targets along with revenue and profitability targets set for the newly onboarded agents
  • Work with Head of Agency to determine quarterly hiring needs
  • Source agents via various methods (like participating in events, screening databases or social media)
  • Following up with note-worthy informal and networking referrals
  • Conduct & schedule meetings, calls, info sessions with potential agents
  • Shortlist agents based on criteria of high performance in sales in the respective product line
  • Build relationships with agents for future pipeline
  • Onboard agents and provide the necessary onboarding training on product knowledge, process knowledge and digital tools
  • Track metrics to spot successes and opportunities for improvement in the hiring process
  • Track performance of the hired agents and share regular monthly analysis with Head of Agency channel & management to steer agent performance
  • Develop a corrective action strategy for agents that are falling below targets
  • Train sales agents on how to sell products or services effectively
  • Identify potential high performer agents and ensure consistent engagement with the agent to tap onto full potential
  • Support the agents in their initial onboarding phase with any queries/feedback to ensure low turnover
Must have:
  • Understanding of General Insurance market in Singapore with minimum 7 years of working experience
  • Strong agent network within the local market
  • Independent Sales representative management experience to understand the non exclusive agent
  • Certified in local GI & Health products certifications
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with people
  • Time management skills to manage & prioritize multiple activities
