Argyll Scott Singapore is retained exclusively by a global luxury beauty client for the search of its APAC Training Manager.

About the role:

• Develop, organize, and execute training programs in Asia Pacific (incl. North Asia, SEA and Oceania), covering product, facial and body treatments, and selling skills, in alignment with Headquarters guidelines
• Guarantee that local trainers in Asia Pacific markets are highly skilled, service-oriented, well-trained, and productive, consistently delivering high-quality experience to the customers and representing the Brand

Key responsibilities

• Train the trainers comprehensively, including but not limited to products, service and treatments, selling ceremony techniques
• Adopt global training and education and customise them for diverse and specific needs of each Asia market
• Develop regional/local resources to achieving brand, product, and service excellence
• Demonstrate product knowledge, sell-through techniques, and performance periodically during market store visits
• Review and coach local trainers, ensuring high standards
• Participate in PR and customer relations/engagement activities (eg. product presentations and collaborations with makeup artists)
• Exemplify the Brand image through personal conduct, professionalism, and grooming standards

About the right-fit candidate:

• Essential: Experienced with China market
• Essential: Fluent in both English and Mandarin (writing and speaking)
• University graduate with more than 8 years of training experience AND a background in beauty/personal care (skincare, cosmetics, fragrances, haircare)
• Experience in luxury retail is highly advantageous
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills
• Enthusiastic, inspiring, and team-oriented
• Strong coaching ability with a hands-on approach.
• Results-oriented and commercial
• Fit for frequent business travels across Asia Pacific markets and Europe headquarter
