APJ Immigration Lead One of the things that attracts people to Dell Technologies is the global possibilities we offer. We have offices and facilities across six continents. Our global immigration team is responsible for overseeing the facilitation of the required visa work when team members are relocated internationally. We also ensure that foreign nationals who are onboarded locally have the correct legal work authorization. We develop related policies and programs to keep our company compliant with the varying immigration regulations. We take the lead in ensuring that staff movement between these continents goes as smoothly as possible, minimizing disruption, lost work time and costs. What you’ll achieve
As APJ Immigration Lead, you will be responsible to oversee the delivery of immigration and immigration-related services in the APJ region with a critical focus on compliance, service quality, and timeliness supporting all of Dell’s Business Units. You are responsible to continually add value to the mobility & immigration division through expert advice and knowledge in matters related to corporate immigration in APJ.
You will:

  • Manage provision of service for immigration across the APJ region
  • Act as the subject matter expert for immigration compliance in regards to government requirements for audit purposes:Ensure full compliance with individual country immigration laws for APJ region
  • Uphold the function of authorized officer to sign visa petitions in the name of Dell Technologies or create the partnership with respective regional HR teams to have petitions signed
  • Conduct internal trainings for immigration processes, risk management processes and compliance
  • Monitor and manage vendor performance as well as handling any potential escalated issues to resolve complex immigration cases.

Essential Requirements
  • Knowledge of corporate immigration matters and procedures
  • Ability to influence and guide decision making of senior leadership based on subject matter expertise
  • In-depth disciplinary knowledge; business acumen and subject matter expertise to handle program execution
  • Ability to adapt projects, programs or methods based on customer or business partner feedback
  • Good communication skills, diplomacy and cultural awareness
Desirable Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of immigration practices and procedures for countries in the APJ region
