THE ROLE

Global precision engineering and technology group headquartered in Singapore,
leading players of niche applications for various industries \xe2\x80\x94 including Aerospace, Semiconductor Equipment, Automotive, and Industrial Automation & Technologies \xe2\x80\x94 with established operations in major markets across Asia, Europe and the USA. The role will cover strategy, business development (BD) and investments. This position will be within the BD department and be part of new initiatives and support of the growth needs for existing business units. THE ROLE (1) Strategy and Operations
Facilitate and develop business plans for both existing and new businesses
Work on industry studies to analyse major trends, opportunities and threats, key players and competitors, benchmarking and potential business implications
Hands-on approach for executing projects at the corporate or business unit level, including ESG initiatives, media and marketing, customer engagement/ insights, business partnerships, market entry strategy, procurement, project management and others (2) BD and Investments
Supporting the BD activities as part of ecosystem building and source for business opportunities and insights
Facilitate and support the investment process end-to-end, including deal origination and research, evaluation, financial modelling, structuring and negotiations, due diligence and legal documentation; and post investment support
Work on business/ commercial and technology due diligence and figuring strategic fit and value

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Engineering, Accountancy, Business Administration or Physical Sciences; Postgraduate degree is a plus
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, strategic planning, corporate development roles or operations roles
Exp in preparing briefing papers, reports and presentations for senior stakeholders
