Job Description


We are working with a leading workplace interior design and build company based in Singapore, specializing in creating innovative, functional, and aesthetically appealing office spaces for our clients. We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for spearheading business expansion and revenue generation across Singapore and key regional markets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Business Growth: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and achieve revenue targets for the Singapore market and identified regional markets.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, client needs, and competitive landscape to create business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and engage potential clients through various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, referrals, and online platforms.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their unique requirements and providing tailored workplace solutions.
- Proposal and Contract Management: Prepare persuasive proposals and negotiate contracts, ensuring alignment with clients\' expectations and company objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the design and project teams to ensure smooth project handover and successful execution, exceeding client expectations throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Brand Promotion: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and establish our position as a leader in the workplace design and build industry.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor sales performance, prepare regular sales reports, and provide insights and recommendations to the senior management team.
- Regional Expansion: Identify and evaluate potential opportunities for expansion into new regional markets, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop market entry strategies.

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development within the workplace interior design and build industry, with regional exposure being an advantage.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong network of industry contacts and a deep understanding of the Singapore and regional market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
- Familiarity with workplace design trends, sustainability practices, and industry best practices is highly desirable.
