RELOcruitment are pleased to be working with their client in Singapore who are a customised supply chain solution provider offering services that cover commercial relocations, project management, commercial Installations, events logistics and specialist freight forwarding solutions. They have enjoyed rapid growth to the forefront of their marketplace and their continued success has opened up a new position for a Business Development Manager who will sell across all of their offerings, prioritising new business within Furniture, Features and Equipment (FF&E) Logistics. You will be required to develop and engage customers within the hospitality and healthcare industries. Your main role is to develop business relationships with companies such as Jones Lang LaSalle, Raffles Medical, Savills etc. The chosen candidate will be a strong part of the core management team and will have the opportunity to progress within the company. Responsibilities:

  • Increase company revenue
  • Coordination and management of any new corporate accounts and leads
  • Maximize every Sales opportunity in order to increase revenue and profit margins on all and any new business
  • Actively source, identify and contact new prospects with a view of securing direct account business
  • Maintain a rolling action plan on prospects, targets and KPIs
  • Assessing market potential, Identify & following up on all potential new business opportunities
  • Liaise with our current corporate accounts and trade partners in order maintain and grow our current relationships together with management
  • Initiate department meetings; discuss business development strategies & potential ways of increasing revenue
  • Offer continuous motivation, guidance and training to all staff members and ensure that they are proactive, professional & efficient at all times
  • Lead from the front through your own sales achievements and activity levels
  • Develop and drive annual sales
  • Managing overall portfolio gross margins and pricing discipline
  • Arrange and participate in networking events to further develop and expose the company brand
  • Participate and be pro-active in designing and planning marketing
  • Support Marketing in building up power-point presentations, support tools for pitching and a sales process for corporate business development
  • Meet set targets by management
