Job Profile Summary:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the overall BAU operations to ensure that all processes are in place and running effectively and efficiently. This includes being central point of contact to ensure all processes are in place and be the intermediary to all support functions. As part of this dynamic role, you will report to the Head of Distribution.

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies, develop and roll out training programs, conduct motivation/town hall/and incentive meetings, provide inputs to product development team, taking on initiatives for various campaigns to drive sales productivity and manage / drive the implementation of process improvements
  • Monitor sales through appropriate sales analyses and reports
  • Assist in the development of sales incentives
  • Handle all issues for sales leaders and representatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Develop positive business relationships with internal and external customers
  • Work with the Legal/Compliance/Risk departments regarding sales leaders and representatives complying with regulatory and company compliance standards to provide advice to the Distribution Channel
  • Analyse sales and productivity data to identify area of strengths/ weaknesses and derive action plan to drive performance across segments. Actively manage sales forecast, product mix and budget towards organizational’s objectives.
  • Deliver aspects of customers’ solution to achieve exemplary customer experience
  • Create a culture of commitment and achievement

Working Experience
  • About 4 to 5 years of experience in insurance and investment sales is preferred
  • Business development experience with insurers will be an advantage

Professional Qualifications
  • CMFAS M5, M9, M9A, HI and CGI certifications are preferred
  • A diploma/graduate degree from a recognized tertiary institution

Language
  • English
