Job Description
We are representing our MNC client in the Logistics industry
Business Development Manager (Contract Logistics)
- Expand business scale with customers, seek for new business, new customers in logistics field to achieve total budget of revenue.
- Align own sales plan with company targets and strategy, deciding which sales opportunities to focus on.
- Collect m market intelligence, product and update critical date calendar and to report tender result and reason of win/failure.
- Build strategic, trust-based relationships with prospective clients’ decision markets and provide industry insights, competitive landscape, leads and opportunity pipeline development.
- Handle RFI, RFQ, RFP and tender work with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and quality submission.
- Propose efficient logistics solution / proposal meeting customer’s need and or to manage and engage when there is any issue or irregularity related to customer.
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in contract logistics and supply chain industry.
- Knowledge in B2B sales experience in transportation, logistics or supply chain management industry.
- Experience handling customer in either retail, consumer, healthcare, automotive, hi-tech and industrial verticals.
- Strong in sales pitch and negotiation skills, analytical skills to interpret customer support volume and competitors’ volume.
- Proficient in Microsoft office skills.
