Job Description


Summary: Develops and executes comprehensive marketing, business development, brand and external communication strategies, tactical plans and programs to optimize market share and profitability. Identifies, develops and maintains customer and partner relationships and meet service requirements. Partners cross-functionally (e.g., with sales). Leads market research to assess current and future market conditions, competitive product, service and pricing practices and changing customer/prospect dynamics in order to influence new product/service development. Includes Marketing Operations. Plans, develops and manages marketing events (e.g., trade shows, conventions, sales meetings) for internal and/or external clients. This job family is intended to accommodate 1) jobs whose accountabilities span two or more job families within the job group; 2) jobs that are not covered by a defined job family within the job group; 3) managerial roles spanning more than one family that are not broad enough in scope and impact to be assigned to the Business Unit/General Management job family within the Management job group.

: Responsible for leading the Biotech marketing team in Asia and North America. Driving strategically and tactically the Biotech marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the marketing team to high levels of performance; develop talents within the larger team.
  • Develop local strategy to meet short/long term growth by external drivers identification, in-depth business analysis, competition benchmarking and go to market insight creation.
  • Lead product management team to design new product for local market by unmet needs discovery, solution development and product launch
  • Manage pricing structure for product lines to meet both goals of profit and loss
  • Interpret global product positioning and design launch excellence to meet local customer requirements by market research, customer segmentation and product re-value proposition
  • Allocate marketing budget and conducted promotion plan in various segments by leads generation and funnel management process

Position Qualification Requirement Education & Professional Background
  • Bachelor's degree from reputable university in a technical, finance or business field, working or studying experience both in Asia and North America preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year’ experience in product development or business management (Marketing, Product Management and Business Development in Gene, Lab consumables, Biochemical Reagent. is preferred)
  • Strong leadership profile
  • Capable of working cross-functionally through Leadership by Influence
  • Track record in driving commercial results in technical B2B industry, working with the sales force and channel partners
  • Proven project management experience in product innovation and commercial initiatives
Language Skills
  • Good communication skills both in Chinese and English

  • Effective personal time management and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint

Salary SGD 7000~8000, Accommodation and Transportation allowance will be provided
