COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our Global Logistics client in Singapore is currently looking for suitable candidates to take on the role of Business Development Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new contract logistics warehousing and distribution business in Singapore, with a focus on targeted customers primarily in the Retail, Consumer, Healthcare, Automotive and Industrial verticals.
• Work closely with new /existing customers to develop and provide feasible Logistics solutions.
• Create good rapport with the new and existing customers.
• Expand business scale with customers, seek for new business, new customers in Logistics field to contribute to achieve total budget of revenue.
• Gather market intelligence, produce and update critical date calendar and to report tender result and reason of win/failure.
• You will be building strategic, trust-based relationships with prospective clients' decision makers and provide industry insights, competitive landscape, leads and opportunity pipeline development.
• Handle RFI/Q/P and tenders and work with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and quality submission.
• Propose efficient logistics solution/ proposal meeting customer's need. and/or to manage and engage when there is any issue or irregularity related to customer. Find essence of trouble and take effective action for solving

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Supply Chain and equivalent
• Must have "business-to-business" sales experience in the transportation, logistics, or supply chain management industry
• Ability to forecast profitability of an operation based on key assumptions and available data
