An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The Business Development Manager's (BDM) role is to improve Fugro's market position and achieve profitable growth. The BDM builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. The BDM's main responsibility is to find potential or new customers, present to them, convert them into clients, and ultimately to secure profitable business for Fugro.
Responsibilities
Identify potential new prospects, client drivers and engage clients
Managing and development of key client relationships
Gathering and analysing market information for new projects, opportunities and industry trends and competitive landscape
Strategic planning in developing the pipeline of new businesses and market opportunities coming into Fugro
Working closely with the Service Line Managers (SLMs) to share information and leverage key contacts and relationships
Coordinating with the relevant Key Account Managers to align the Global and regional strategy
Communicating with the relevant Global teams on priority solutions (ie. Remote operations, UXO, etc.) for Fugro's business development initiatives
Working with the Commercial team to develop proposals that are targeted to address client's needs
Development of the Fugro sales strategies for the market, to ensure the attainment of company sales goals and profitability
Represent Fugro at industry events to generate leads
Maintains the L2C sales funnel and CRM management processes and systems (Avalon). Ensures all opportunities and client data are registered and maintained in the sales funnel and CRM system (Avalon)
Qualifications / Skills / Experience
Minimum 5 years' proven technical sales / business development expertise within the Subsea and/or Offshore Wind industry
Willingness to travel on a regular basis within Asia
Excellent listening and presentation skills . Solid analytical abilities Team player
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and nurture relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
