This person will take part in the assessment of business development opportunities in Singapore and the regional markets. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Analyse existing and potential markets to identify new clients who profile matches the management defined approach and secure business development opportunities Provide ideas and support to generate new business Contribute effectively to business development strategies and plans for specific markets to accomplish business objectives and revenue targets Work closely with the management team to increase the company's market presence both locally and regionally Identify target customers, analyse their business needs and make appropriate recommendation or proposal of our products to meet their needs Responsible for periodical business review with customers for the existing business and constantly explore new areas of opportunity Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients Collate and analyse market trends and competitors' activities REQUIREMENTS At least a Degree in Engineering or a related discipline 2-3 years of experience in business development with proven track record in concluding new business deals Demonstrate business development skills a confident presenter with strengths in written and verbal communication Must be conversant in English and Chinese (To liaise with Chinese speaking business associates) With extensive network or experience in medical packaging industry in the China markets is a plus Willing to travel extensively
