We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Building Technology group - Fire Life Safety team in our Singapore office. Your focus will be to manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers, to build relationships and understand customer business in order to provide appropriate products or solutions, to define sales and growth strategy toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives, to identify opportunities and build credibility with customers, to utilize your product knowledge to deliver the value proposition to the customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development activities to create/shape and prioritize new business opportunities to achieve the growth goals of Li-Ion Tamer & Honeywell Fire products.
  • Create, maintain, and implement a customer engagement strategy and customer visit plan across the region.
  • Collaborate with Honeywell Fire Sales team on regional growth strategies and develop inputs for the Datacenters, utility companies & Industrial.
  • Prioritize and develop (with team support) marketing content for Li-Ion Tamer.
  • Be the subject matter expert on your products.
  • Understand Li-Ion battery market dynamics & analyze business data to identify trends and create financial forecasts.
  • Engage is consultants, end users & contractors to develop awareness about Li-Ion tamer detection.
  • Manage existing channel & expand new channel in Li-Ion tamer offering.
  • Work with pricing team to ensure optimized pricing for all parts in portfolio.
  • Advise the regional sales team on overall product availability and direct the sales team to sell specific products to achieve business goals.
  • Analyze technical publications and engage with industry associations to increase brand visibility.
  • Coordinate with all functions to aid in the growth and seamless operations.
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum 5 years of Sales or Business Development experience in the field.
  • Understanding of and/or exposure to ASEAN markets (especially Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia)
  • Diploma degree or higher

  • Experience in Data Center and/or Energy Utility
  • Understanding of and/or exposure to India market
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment
