Job Description

Our client is an up & coming biotechnology company dedicated to advanced scientific research and pioneer development in their respective field of biotechnology & biopharma. To support in further development & expansion of the business, they are currently looking for a Corporate Business Development Manager/Director to help identify business development opportunities on a corporate level e.g. in-licensing, out-licensing, mergers & acquisitions etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate potential business opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and licensing agreements.
• Identify and evaluate potential in-licensing opportunities that align with the company\'s strategic objectives
• Conduct due diligence, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with partners
• Identify and evaluate potential out-licensing opportunities for the company\'s proprietary technologies and products. Develop and execute licensing strategies to maximize revenue and market penetration
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential business opportunities within the biotechnology sector
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential partners, investors, and industry experts
• Prepare and present business proposals, including financial projections, market analysis, and strategic recommendations, to senior management & leaderships
• Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential partners, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company

Job Requirements:

• PhD/Master degree holder in Science-related discipline, preferably in Immunology, Oncology and/or Genetics
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in corporate business development within MNC pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industries
• Prior experience in financial modeling & market research; track record in executing in-licensing and/or out-licensing deals
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical & biotechnology industry, including market trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive dynamics.
• Solid independent contributor, agile & flexible when powering through a dynamic business environment
• Fluency in Mandarin & English are a must; additional language skills will be advantageous
• This position is based in Singapore, yet open to global applicants who fit the above requirements; VISA arrangements will be supported.
