Job Responsibilities:
Report to Crewing Manager and support crewing department with the management of seafarers for the fleet of vessels.
Supporting the recruitment function by arranging for an interview, vetting and verifying certificates, arranging for medical check-ups, travel, lodging, etc. for seafarers.
Prepare necessary onboarding and offboarding procedures.
Supporting the needs, well-being, and welfare of the seafarers.
Work closely with manning agencies.
Prepare and brief seafarers on their employment contracts, company policies, and procedures.
Maintain the seafarers\' schedule and matrix.
Organize and liaise on crew travel and logistics.
Preparation of weekly/monthly reports required by Management.
Online submission on various government portals.
Maintain close relationships with seafarers and provide advice on employment matters where necessary.
Support the Shipping department and partake in necessary audits.
Ensure and maintain confidentiality.
Support the crewing manager in the preparation and review of the monthly crew payroll.
Any other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in similar function, preferably in ship owning companies.
Diploma in maritime/human resource studies, or similar.
Able to work well both independently and in a team.
Positive and attention to detail.
Experience in Sage Easypay Software would be preferred.
Additional language proficiency in Bahasa would be preferred.
