Job Title : Deputy Chief Data OfficerDepartment : Group Data OfficeJob PurposeThe Deputy Chief Data Officer (CDO) is a senior leadership role responsible for managing and optimizing National Healthcare Group\'s (NHG) data assets, ensuring data management and sharing practices align with organizational goals and regulatory standards. The Deputy CDO will work closely with internal and external partners to enable data to be efficiently and sustainably exploited, delivering the best value-based health outcomes for our community.Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement NHG\'s data strategy in collaboration with GCDHO, overseeing data governance systems and processes in NHG.
• Ensure compliance with HealthTech Instruction Manual (HIM) policies and standards, adapting them to NHG\'s context.
• Represent NHG in external engagements and on the CDO Council where necessary.
• Resolve data disputes both within and outside the clusters.
• Manage NHG\'s data assets across the 4-stage data life cycle (acquisition, fusion, access & distribution, exploitation), aligning with NHG and MOH\'s data strategy.
• Monitor and report on the cluster\'s progress towards in data strategy goals.
• Lead and mentor teams, setting clear objectives and promoting professional development.
• Engage stakeholder effectively, fostering strong relationships for successful project outcomes.

Prerequisite

• Minimum 15 years in healthcare operations with over 10 years in leadership capacity.
• Bachelor\'s degree in healthcare administrations, business, or related fields.
• In-depth knowledge of value-based care models, healthcare regulations and industry trends.
• Exceptional communication, strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven interpersonal and teamwork skills with a consultative approach to partnership and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong knowledge of process, regulations and industry trends.
• Familiarity with clinical informatics, population health or process redesign is preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare professional ethics and principles.
