The Role Responsibilities

Accountable & Responsible

  • Lead Delivery and maintenance of Automation/Intelligence technology, data quality strategy and enhancements (COOL, MSTR, PEGA, Azure, MSI).
  • Align the strategic approach of all Resilience Pillars via coordination of the optimal centralised digitisation solution ensuring adherence to the overall group strategic direction.
  • Responsible for delivery of Sentinel Resilience Automation & Intelligence capabilities globally.
  • Provide such training as is necessary to New Staff, Existing Personnel and the GBS Resilience Hub on, Auto/Intel systems, processes, controls and standards across Group.
  • Design new Resilience capabilities promoting efficiency and error reduction across all operations and BU\xe2\x80\x99s.
  • Facilitate products transitioning to BAU and their subsequent ongoing support requirements.
  • Drive T+I infrastructure alignment and support the overall data integration strategy of Group Resilience.
Consulted and Informed
  • Changes to policies and standards relating to Third Party risk Management, T&I Resilience, Crisis Communication, Incident Management.
  • Changes to control expectations from Group Resilience.
  • Changes to Risk sub-type owner accountabilities in ORTF.
  • Changes to Process Owner accountabilities in ORTF.
  • Changes to procedures relating to risk management and governance.
  • Changes to IT Development Procedures & Requirements.
  • Changes to Vendor Procedures, interactions & requirements.
Strategy
  • Accountable for interpreting the group\xe2\x80\x99s strategy and operational innovations to support changes in digital framework design such as but not exclusively, 3rd Party IT partnerships (vendor), outsourcing & cloud migration.
  • Align, challenge and shape the supported outputs towards the Group\xe2\x80\x99s strategic agenda and encompassing external best practice, regulation and innovation.
  • Embody the strategic vision, objectives, conduct and values of the Operational Resilience in addition to that of the Group COO overall Vision.
  • Align the overall Resilience Digitisation Agenda across all pillars.
Business

  • Drive first line + second line adoption of the digitisation of Resilience capabilities and controls.
  • Innovate current BCM / OCIR / OpRes / BU processes via the implementation of enhanced digital intelligence, automation and people capabilities.
  • Innovate GBS Resilience Processes, People and operations.
People and Talent
  • Represent Group Resilience as Product owner of automated capabilities end to end.
  • Grow a team of strong digitally oriented resilience programme staff.
  • Establish a core of GBS resilience staff proficient in newly created capabilities to alleviate Key Person Dependencies.
Risk Management
  • Represent Resilience in risk committees, operational resilience working groups, programme steering committee etc. to provide updates and influence positive outcomes relating to owned and supported capabilities.
  • Ensure all appropriate measures for risk mitigation are followed in all owned / supported product developments and rollouts.
Governance
  • Participate is such Programme forums as necessary to deliver products supported / owned.
  • Ensure alignment in governance between the Programme, Programme PMO, Resilience Change, BU\xe2\x80\x99s Line 1 & BAU.
  • Ensure that all Resilience Controls pertaining to owned / supported products are operating effectively, and any issues are identified and escalated in accordance with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Ensure owned / supported products are delivered to group policy and standards.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Values and Code of Conduct.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Relationship management in the Banking Operations
  • Expert knowledge of MicroStrategy & the COOL, including data infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of Agile Values, Methodologies and represent the Agile mindset of the Resilience Global Strategy a must
  • Strong understanding of design, resilience, and a person with a strong mathematical acumen
  • Expert Relationship Management and Stakeholder Engagement
