Job Description

Our client is a global medical technology player with an established presence in the APAC region. This is an exciting, strategic new role based in their regional office based in Singapore.

Reporting to the Vice President, the Director of Commercial Excellence is tasked to drive the APAC cluster’s best practices and develop organizational capabilities in key areas, eg

• CRM implementation and utilization;
• APAC level capital funnels and installed base analytics
• Setting KPI’s and target based on market & competitive analysis
• Sales performance analysis and measurements;
• Business insights and intelligence; Marketing & Sales excellence in areas that will have a direct positive impact on the P&L of the business
• Digital marketing and providing a framework of health of business Dashboards and other automated tools for the commercial leadership team to drive the business.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• 10+ years of experience in an international healthcare business (ideally, capital selling experience), with proven ability to develop plans as well as lead teams to develop plans
• Solid background in sales combined with commercial background (marketing, financial skills, etc.).
• Knowledge of the medical device industry, deep understanding of healthcare systems in key markets like ANZ, Japan, China and India
• Project management experience and expertise.
• Advanced analytical skills, strategic thinking and the ability to anticipate future trends and opportunities.
• Must be driven, a team leader and possess strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Successful track record; has shown demonstrable results in their career.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills including influencing with direct reporting - ability to foster relationships and credibility quickly at all levels of the organization.
• Comfortable working in a demanding, fast paced environment, juggling multiple priorities and working within ambiguity
• Experience leading cross functional teams
• Excellent problem solving, Executive presentation and analytical skills
