About the Role We are looking for a Director - Cyber Defense to lead the entire Defense capability and take it to the next level. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will have ample room to influence the company's cyber strategy and its investments is Managed Detection & Response, Technical Consulting and Advisory.
You must be a strong technical and people leader, with real-world experience of top-end cyber programmes, and a clear view of how security initiatives impact business outcomes. Importantly, you need to translate ideas into actions, an actions into results. Take calculated risks, experiment, fail, reflect, pivot, grind and succeed.
You will inherit an existing team, second to none, full of passion, talent, enthusiasm and grit. You are expected to be an enabler, a mentor, a coach for them to realise their full untapped potential.
This position is a key strategic role in the company and will provide an opportunity to grow at a pace rarely seen across the region.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the Cyber Defense Capability to take it to the next level: one of the most recognized Cyber Teams in Asia
• Own all technical and service outcomes delivered by Defense
• Uplift our MDR capability to become a Tier-1 provider in Asia
• Lead a team of highly passionate, talented, high potential individuals
• Relentlessly seek to add value to all customer engagements
  
• Evangelise our cyber capabilities internally and externally
• Maintain healthy business metrics

• SIGNIFICANT technical and operational expertise delivering complex cyber projects/programs to high-end clients
• Previously built and/or led a Security Operations Center
• Strong engagement management experience (scope, stakeholders, budget, timeline, resources, risks)
• Experience on the vendor side is highly preferred
• Bias for Action: resist the temptation to create a perfect world and instead deliver continuous and gradual improvements
• Being resourceful, creative, having ideas, opinions and being willing to challenge conventional approaches
• Exceptional communication skills making people feel comfortable and foster psychological safety
• Business Acumen to relate how decisions may impact the business
