Objectives of this role

  • Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans
  • Maximize efficiency and productivity through process analysis
  • Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity
  • Work with team members with regards to development of financial and budgetary plans
  • Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary
  • Perform market analysis and provide recommendations on business expansion locally and internationally
Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and challenges of key initiatives
  • Draw on relationships with external partners and vendors to make decisions on operational activity and strategic goals
  • Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely running of business
  • Devise strategies for ensuring company growth, and implement process improvements
  • Uphold the organization's policies and standards, and ensure that legislative regulations are being followed
  • Work closely with Human Resources to lead the team with integrity and to establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment

Skills and qualifications
  • Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in business administration, finance or related field, MBA or Master degree will be a plus
  • Eight or more years in a senior leadership role in a relevant field
  • Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, and employee management
  • Proven ability to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Ability to streamline or implement new structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands
  • Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines

Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in developing business plans and strategies
  • Proven ability to develop innovative solutions that lead to increased productivity
  • Superior negotiation skills for both internal and external purposes
  • Advanced organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software (ex: Microsoft Office, CRM)
