PPP Coffee, formerly known as Papa Palheta, is a leading specialty coffee roaster in Singapore, with over 10 years of sourcing, roasting and serving specialty coffee to the community through its owner-operated F&B outlets, as well as its network of over 50 partner cafes, restaurants and offices. Established in 2009, PPP Coffee is also one of the first to launch a first-of-its-kind open-concept roastery housed in an Art Deco shophouse in the Jalan Besar precincts of Singapore.

PPP Coffee is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our F&B operations at our flagship outlet located at Tyrwhitt Road. In this role, you will be responsible for the success of the outlet by leading a team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff to deliver a high level of product and service excellence in accordance with the company’s strategic plans.

• Lead and manage a team of front and back-of-house staff across the assigned café/retail outlet
• Train, mentor and provide on-the-job training for managers and supervisors to ensure that they consistently deliver against the quality and health and safety measures
• Responsible for recruitment of staffing and manpower across all assigned outlets
• Conduct training and orientation along with HR support to set up new managers and team members for success
• Ensure that all outlets deliver a high quality of service, hygiene and food quality
• Oversee regular maintenance, managing facelifts and/or major renovation at the assigned outlet
• Work with key suppliers and partners to ensure purchasing and inventory management is managed to ensure the highest quality and best COGS
• Respond to customer escalations, and ensure support for the continuous improvement process
• Provide feedback and offer suggestions for improvements
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports as required

• 3-5 years experience working in a managerial role in a F&B/retail environment
• Diploma preferably in business administration, F&B, Hospitality or related field
• Fluent in English and one other local language
• Basic computer literacy including MS Word and Excel
• Action oriented; committed and reliable; strong attention to detail
• Takes initiative to solve issues or offer alternatives
