As a Field Service Engineer I at Honeywell Singapore, you will play a crucial role in the on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex equipment and systems. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, customer-facing skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement in field service processes and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

Support On-Site Installation and Repair:

  • Lead the development and refinement of processes for the installation, servicing, and repair of complex equipment on customer sites.
  • Ensure high-quality technical standards are maintained during all on-site activities.
Technical Presentations and Training:
  • Deliver technical presentations to customers, industry peers, and competitors.
  • Contribute to the creation and revision of work instructions and customer-facing training guides.
  • Educate customers and field technicians to ensure a comprehensive understanding of our products and services.
Documentation and Communication:
  • Write and maintain clear, concise documentation used by field technicians.
  • Utilize excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively convey information.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
  • Drive initiatives aimed at improving processes related to field services and product development.
  • Actively seek feedback and implement strategies for service enhancement.
Cross-Functional Support and Escalation Management:
  • Work with cross-functional groups to resolve administrative issues related to equipment delivery and installation.
  • Serve as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure swift resolution of complex issues.
Customer Service and Delivery:
  • Validate customer requests and ensure the Right and Fast Delivery of services.
  • Uphold a commitment to excellent customer service throughout all service activities.
Required:
  • Previous industry experience in a technical or installation capacity.
  • Strong customer service background.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to provide quality documentation and effective training materials.
Preferred:
  • Advanced degree in a related technical field.
  • Demonstrated skills in delivering high-quality presentations.
  • Experience in driving continuous improvement in technical service environments.
