Job Description

We are looking for dedicated and passionate Food and beverage manager to join our team. To be in charge of day-to-day operations and to plan and carry out 24h kitchen operations efficiently, in accordance with company standards, while maintaining stakeholders' relationships closely with a big team.





JOB DESCRIPTION



Planning, organizing, and monitoring the day-to-day operations of the canteen, including daily record-keeping, opening and closing the canteen, preparation and cooking for service, and staff attendance Providing leadership to canteen staffs to ensure the delivery of affordable healthy food service to the patrons; Ensuring that stock is kept at appropriate levels and a stocktake is undertaken at the end of each month-end In charge POS machines and payment terminals issues Developing, implementing, and managing procedures to deliver the food service in line with the SFA guidelines; Ordering, purchasing, and checking all supplies against invoices and delivery; Ensuring that food is prepared, stored, and served in accordance with health and safety regulations; Implementing procedures and processes regarding food safety to ensure that correct food handling and hygiene practices are performed to prevent food spoilage and food contamination Using food preparation and food-handling skills to minimize waste; Conduct routine checks on various kitchens (during peak periods) to ensure operations are managed well by each individual kitchen team to meet the company's expectations Ensure all staff are well-groomed and show professionalism at work to maintain a corporate image Counting, recording, and reconciling the daily takings according to the company's policy Liaise with customers, stakeholders and auditors Other adhoc tasks assigned



JOB REQUIREMENTS



A degree in F&B management, food services or culinary arts Possess more than 5 years experience in F&B industry Able to commit 6 days per week. Willing to work long hours, weekends, public holidays and night shift if necessary Past experiences in managing Chinese, Malay, Indian & Western food cuisine Resilient & ability to perform under pressure Excellent communications & interpersonal skills Willingness to learn and adapt Possess strong leadership skills and problem solving skills Basic computer literacy including MS Word and Excel * Possess good knowledge of BIZSAFE, ISO22000 & MUIS regulations
