FRANK - Retail Manager - (220001RM)

The banking industry is undergoing a fundamental shift and FRANK by OCBC is positioning itself to be an innovator across its retail, product and marketing groups. FRANK by OCBC is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Retail Manager. In this role, you will be helping hire and manage a team of FRANK ambassadors who service clients in our four FRANK stores. Our vision is to turn our retail spaces into high traffic areas with events, activities and displays that engage, entertain and educate. We need someone who can train and motivate the team to be a welcoming face to customers. This starts with someone with the same helpful, can do attitude that we want them to have! We believe that happy staff means better service and more conversions. Retail is detail so this person should have a keen eye for store operations as the little things add up to big things. They will also carry key goals around customer service, footfall and client account openings and product conversions. This role is not an in-store role and expectation is that the person will be at FRANK HQ the majority of the time. Responsibilities:

  • Daily Check-in meetings with FRANK store staff.
  • Weekly Scheduling of FRANK store staff.
  • Liaise between FRANK business unit on retail marketing activities and feedback on existing programs.
  • Hiring and training of store manpower including creating training modules and working external vendors to execute staff training.
  • Coordinate with FRANK marketing to execute in store campaigns and activities.
  • Motivate FRANK store staff with morale and Incentive programs.
  • Ownership of FRANK store email accounts and responding to customer questions including working with FRANK marketing and product teams on resolutions.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years working experience in the event or retail industry.
  • Experience hiring, training and managing retail staff.
  • Team player with strong inter-personal and communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Hands on experience with retail events that are designed to drive footfall and/or acquisitions is a bonus.
  • Solid project management skills with the ability to lead and collaborate with partners, prioritise without guidance on high impact activities and activations and keep projects moving forward under tight timelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
