Zoom platform is growing rapidly to many innovative collaboration use cases. Hardware is an important integral part of the Zoom experience. The Hardware Partnership Manager will join the Hardware Partnership Team responsible for hardware partners of the newly introduced Zoom Whiteboard. We are looking for an energetic, detailed, and experienced hardware partnership manager with expertise in unified communication or interactive flat panels hardware. This individual will work with internal cross functional Zoom Whiteboard teams and leading hardware companies to drive hardware roadmap for persistent, cloud-based visual collaboration integrated into Zoom’s suite of products as well as third party applications. Responsibility

  • Analyzes market data to identify trends/opportunities in interactive touch display and whiteboard hardware, develops strategic direction, identifies key hardware players in the value chain.
  • Build trusting and long-lasting relationships with our top hardware partners on multiple levels. Serve as the primary point of contact to partners.
  • Define and develop the sustainable hardware strategy and plan incl. partners, roadmap, product, and alignment with Zoom software
  • Collaborating with internal and partner’s product manager, engineering, marketing, and design teams, kick off and effectively manage joint projects and hardware releases with Zoom software
  • Create consistent and unified UX (User Experience) across hardware from different partners that delights our users
  • Work with business development on business model, marketing and sales enablement on value proposition in GTM (Go To Market) and NPI (New Product Introductions) plan
Requirements
  • 8+ years of product management, interoperability, partnership, engineering, or business development role in interactive touch display, whiteboard, smart IoT or unified communications industries.
  • Position based in Singapore
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to manage ambiguity, solve complex problems and scale effectively across a large organization.
  • Technical background is required, Business, Engineering or computer degree a plus
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, ethical, responsible, and self-motivated
  • Understanding of SaaS and service provider business models a plus
  • You are comfortable being hands-on, detail-oriented and shifting between the tactical and strategic actions with effective executive and team communication skills and techniques
