Job Description

The Human Resource Supervisor is responsible for the following:

  • Serves as the point of contact on day-to-day HR matters
  • Overseeing the HR process
  • Designing company policies
  • Setting objectives for the HR team
  • Set objectives for the HR team and track progress
  • Support by understanding business priorities and objectives and provide guidance to employees and leaders on HR issues
  • Design company policies that promote a healthy work environment
  • Manages the implementation and interpretation of established HR policies, making employees aware of HR policies adherence matters
  • Partnering with leadership to create solutions for complex employee experience, retention, or employee-related issues
  • Supervise/manages appropriate corrective action and termination documentation
  • Conducts exit interviews as needed
  • Develop compensation and benefits plans
  • Support recruitment efforts and suggest improvements to the entire recruitment process
  • Discuss employees' career development paths with managers
  • Monitor HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates and cost-per-hire)
  • Review departmental budgets
  • Creates and Organizes learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees
  • Ensure HR staff addresses employees' requests and grievances in a timely manner
  • Maintain HR procedures that comply with labor regulations
  • Monitor and ensures compliance met with local employment laws and regulations and recommended practices
  • Maintains employment files and ensures regulatory survey readiness by conducting routine audits of employees' files and company records
  • Perform other HR duties as assigned

III. Knowledge-based
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • Proven work experience as an HR Supervisor or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Management Software
  • Solid understanding or knowledge of labor legislation
  • With experience in attending/managing Labor Cases
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws
  • Competency in using Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
