Job Overview We are looking for middle-management Human Resources Manager who can take on both human resources (HR) tasks and responsibilities, and manage office administrative support functions for the Company. As a start-up that is expanding rapidly, the HR Manager is expected to independently manage and carry out end-to-end recruitment, hiring, on-boarding and training of candidates across multiple jurisdictions, be highly organised and in tune with employment laws and best practices. Strong interpersonal skills are a must as a HR Manager. Essential Functions

  • Recruit and interview potential applicants on experience, skills, and education; update job requirements when needed.
  • Contact applicant references and perform background checks required by the Company.
  • Organize and conduct new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs.
  • Maintain employee payroll, records and paperwork; liaise with governmental agencies on all employment related matters, including CPF, MOM, IRAS.
  • Develop and maintain HR initiatives, employee benefit programs, policies and handbook.
  • Manage general office administration duties, including processing staff claims, sourcing and procurement of office vendors/suppliers, organising and co-ordinating external client and internal/staff functions, events and meetings.
  • Manage and coordinate of all office facility management matters such as fixed asset inventories, office set-up and renovations, etc.
  • Act as point of contact and negotiator with various stakeholders for all office maintenance and administration related matters.
  • Provide administrative support to the various heads of department and team members, as required.

Education/ Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or related field, or extensive prior experience in human resources.
  • At least 5 years experience in HR.
  • Highly computer literate in Microsoft Suite (especially Excel) and various HR software programs, and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping
  • Experience in the following will be added advantage:
  • Corporate MNC experience
  • Training in employment law, compensation, organisational planning, organisation development, employee relations, safety, training
