Job Description

  • Manage existing key customers and identify their needs
  • Develop growth and business opportunities
  • Ownership of rates/surcharges/info requests and tender negotiations
  • Respond to customers' needs, inquiries, and complaints
  • Oversee agents' performance, set agent's marketing objectives, and close liaison with them to achieve optimum results & revenue
  • Understand the market, our products, competitors, and industry as part of feedback and learning
  • Manage coordination with various departments (Trade, Billing, and Accounts)
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree Holders in related field
  • Minimum 5 years of shipping / maritime / freight forwarding experience preferred
  • Experience in key account management
  • Willing to travel overseas (Average 2 months travel once)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, spoken and written
  • Detailed and meticulous and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage and develop relationships and negotiate at different levels of a customer organization
  • Creative and positive mindset
  • Self-driven and result oriented
