Job Description
Responsibilities
As a sole legal counsel here in Singapore, you will be supporting the business in all legal matters. You are responsible for drafting and reviewing all bank\'s standard legal document including but not limited to forms and agreements, letter of offers etc. You will help the organization to develop their wealth management and asset management business in Singapore. You will be working closely with the business in relation to any new product launches and providing advice on the legal implications. You will have exposure to capital markets and global markets transactions.
You will also be required to manage any litigations cases from clients and working with external counsels to ensure that the relevant risks are managed for the organization. In order to manage the bank\'s legal risk, you are also required to be kept up to date on any new law regulations that may have an impact on the Bank\'s operation and business.
Requirements
In order to succeed in this role, you should be a Singapore qualified lawyer and have at least 5 years PQE. Candidates coming from private practice with experience in financial services regulatory, capital markets, mergers & acquisitions and general corporate commercial are welcome to apply. Candidates who are currently working in a financial institution will have an advantage.
