Pratt & Whitney is focused on digitization and technology insertion to support our Industry 4.0 directive. Our team Aftermarket Operations (AMO) Systems organization is supporting this initiative through various digital transformation projects to our overhaul and repair facilities.
To further support this initiative, we are seeking a dedicated and self-motivated professional that will help lead and coordinate various project activities with Pratt & Whitney\xe2\x80\x99s global facilities. This includes learning and understanding the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) business processes to drive the projects to completion, within budget and on schedule.
The role will work across the APAC and Turkey (APACT) engine centers and repairs units to provide Go-Live support, production, and sustainment support. Project Manager will work closely with a wide range of groups including focal at each overhaul and repair site, quality (global and site), different groups within Digital Technology, Global Trade, Legal, and others in the Commercial Engines organization.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage project schedules for Solumina G8 deployment for repair shops and engine centers in APACT.
Provide onsite support on site day-to-day system issues.
Communicate with North America business and Digital Technology team regularly on APACT site progress.
Drive the projects to completion by managing schedule, cost, quality, and risks as necessary.
Learn and understand Pratt & Whitney\xe2\x80\x99s MRO business processes.
Provide guidance and leadership to the site resources working on the projects.
Provide Solumina G8 training to site members prior to Go-Lives and as necessary.
Work closely with engine centers already in G8 to provide production and system performance support.
Look at Solumina G8 Lead to drive standardization and best practices across AMO sites.
Support Solumina performance and efficiency initiatives to improve end user experience across all AMO shops.
Communicate project status updates to both the sites and executive team.
Support the various AMO groups and escalate system issues as required.
Requirements
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in an Engineering or Information Technology field.
At least 7 years of experience in technology project management within a manufacturing environment.
Solumina experience as a super-user/end-user and MRO shop experience is required.
Proven experience as a project manager with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
Flexible to work across different time zones to communicate with North American and APACT.
Creative problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10-20%.
Good understanding of Pratt & Whitney\xe2\x80\x99s industry 4.0 journey.
Self-starter with strong communication and teamwork.
Experience with MRO processes is preferred.
Familiarity with Engine Centers and Repair Shops functionality is preferred.
Experience with IT systems and how they work on a shop floor is preferred.
