Job Description


What the role is:The jobholder drives the development and conduct of Home Team Leadership programmes to further the Centre\'s focus on supporting leadership development and shaping leadership practices in the Home Team. In this respect, the jobholder shall identify learning needs, monitor standards, and design frameworks to integrate and ensure the quality of leadership development in the Home Team. The jobholder shall also establish strategic partnerships with and reach out to renowned local and international centres of leadership excellence to develop high quality leadership programmes for HT leaders, WOG and HT international strategic partners.What you will be working on:

  • Develop frameworks and models to guide HT leadership training and development \xe2\x80\xa2 Design and develop the training curriculum for HTA leadership programmes \xe2\x80\xa2 Drive the appropriate use of technology, and create a conducive and supportive environment for effective learning. \xe2\x80\xa2 Translate MHA\'s strategic directions into effective developmental and impactful learning programmes \xe2\x80\xa2 Promote HTCL\'s thought leadership on leadership development in safety and security, locally and internationally \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and maintain effective relationships with different stakeholders to further the Centre\'s interest, and provide leaders with enriching learning and development experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Drive the set-up and assume secretariat role for new WoG platform, Crisis Management Training Steering Committee (CMTSC) and drive the development of WoG Crisis Management Competency Framework and WoG Crisis Management Capability Intervention Roadmap \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide direct report with appropriate support, challenge, and development
What we are looking for:1. Recognised Bachelor\'s degree, preferably with specialisation in training and development 2. Keen interest in training and development 3. Demonstrate good capability in strategic orientation and thinking 4. Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and writing skills 5. Proficient in IT and Microsoft applications 6. Able to work independently and also contribute effectively as a team player 7.
