[Candidate needing work pass need not apply] The Manager, Processing and Warehouse supports the mission of the Red Shield Industries, a social enterprise, highly regarded by the public for its excellent delivery of donation in kind service which is sensitive and responsive to the community welfare needs and meeting the funding needs of The Salvation Army.
It is expected that the Manager, Processing and Warehouse ensure effective management of our processing and warehouse operations are in line with The Salvation Army Red Shield Industries’ visions, policies, procedure with established quality, environment and safety practices.
Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Processing and Warehouse and Workshop
• Perform stock analysis, ensure availability of stock and maintain processing productivity.
• Ensure security, fire safety/emergency procedures are maintained in the Processing and Warehouse compound
• To perform Logistic Management taking into consideration of operational requirements including oversight of work schedule and work assignment
• Facilitate the implementation of policies and procedures, including periodic internal audits on procedures
• Preparation of annual budgets from the centre, ensure effectiveness in deployment of resources and to manage all operating costs within approved guidelines and budget.
• To work closely with Human Resource in recruitment and selection process, Training, handling of staff grievances, in disciplinary matters and annual performance appraisal, etc

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a minimum Diploma in Logistics and with Supply Chain Management. 5-year experience in a management function in a similar field
• Able to attend to queries and complaints
• Well-groomed with a courteous disposition
• Required strong communication and IT skill, excellent organisational skill, good team player, highly self-motivated
• Good leadership skill
• Process a class 3 license is preferred

Working Hours

• 5.5 days week / 44 hours week, Monday to Saturday
• Flexibility in work arrangement is expected based on operation needs
