What the role is:The Engagement Department of the Ministry of Manpower\'s Foreign Manpower Management Division is dedicated to working with government agencies, community partners and NGOs to improve the well-being of the 1.4 million-strong migrant workforce in Singapore. It is a purposeful endeavour that presents many exciting opportunities for the co-creation of solutions in caring for and uplifting our migrant workers (MWs) and migrant domestic workers (MDWs).What you will be working on:As a member of the Partnership team, you are responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with NGOs and community partners to support the MW and MDW community. This involves strategic planning and assessment of: (i) MOM\'s interests; (ii) needs of the migrant population landscape; and (iii) the ecosystem of support to drive engagement of stakeholders. Besides strategic planning work, you will co-create initiatives that support the well-being of the migrant worker community, as well as ensuring the timely resolution of employment-related cases referred by our partners. You will work closely with relevant MOM departments, external agencies and stakeholders to develop policies, programmes, resolve challenges and secure adequate resourcing needs for projects. You will have opportunities to see through proposals from conceptualisation to implementation, as well as to participate in cross-departmental/divisional projects.What we are looking for:- At least 2-3 years\' working experience in stakeholder and relationship management, planning and policymaking, regulatory case processing or finance and grant administration background. - Keen interest in uplifting well-being of migrant workers and migrant domestic workers - Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also required. - Comfortable with data analysis and meticulous with accounting and budgeting matters.
