Job Description
Scope Work within the Marine Hull Underwritingoperations team by assisting in recording and follow up of written businesses with the objective of keeping a track on business generation and documentary completion. Manage the process of follow up and allocation of premium closing documentation. Assist finance department in reconciliation of premium remittances/offsets made by brokers to with an objective to minimise unallocated funds. Specific Duties
- Preparation, maintenance and follow up of Slip Registers and Endorsement registers.
- Timely follow up of premium closings for agreed slips and endorsements.
- Due checks on closing documentation accuracy, prioritising and timely allocation of invoices to minimise turnaround times and unreconciled premiums.
- Identification of unreconciled premiums and taking up due actions required to vouch the premium entries and/or to follow up with broker
- Generation of appropriate reports as is required
- Work in tandem with finance team and assist in due fund allocation
- Adherence to the compliance guidelines and documentary formalities
- Diploma or Degree holder preferable in Marine.
- Prior experience or exposure in Marine.
- Work independently as well as a team player and self-motivated
