EXCLUSIVE: Direct Search Global is partnering a fast growing marine contractor to fill a position for Project Manager for their operations in Singapore. Currently going through a massive growth phase, the Company specializes in providing turnkey solution for vessel interior fitouts, covering design, fabrication, installation and maintenance.

Who should apply?

A Project Manager/Senior Project Engineer with at least 8 years of project management experience from shipyard/marine consultancy/OEM environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review the project specifications.
• Coordinate with the design team regarding engineering and design challenges.
• Create and organize the project schedule and workflows.
• Manage the project budget.
• Conduct inspections of projects as necessary.
• Participate in project/production meetings with the client to resolve on-site issues.
• Generate Variation Orders (VO) and ensure accurate client billing.
• Collaborate with the operations manager to plan manpower requirements.
• Prepare quotations whenever necessary.
• Delegate tasks to project engineers and supervisors.
• Review and verify claims from subcontractors and vendors for progress payments.
• Submit Technical Query Reports (TQR) for clarification.
• Prepare risk assessments when necessary.
• Implement control over project materials/consumables.
• Prepare Material Take Off (MTO) or review MTO prepared by Quantity Surveyors (QS).

• Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Marine Engineering/Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering.
• Possess at least 8 years of relevant experience in the Marine & Offshore industry.
• Proficient in MS Project and MS Office.
• Familiarity with SOLAS & classification regulations.
• Preferably have a Class 3 driving license (Own Car).
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
