Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements. Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals. Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors. Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents. Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies. Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required. Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets. Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders. Traveling from the office to various sites as required.

We are looking for Assistant Electrical Engineer to oversee our team of electricians. In this role, you will be responsible for on-site administrative submission and monitoring workflow, creating work schedules, providing technical assistance, and to assist and support the Electrical Engineer on site. As an assistant to the Project Engineer on site, you should be proactive, exhibit strong leadership skills, a keen interest to learn and coupled with a sound knowledge of industrial and commercial electrical systems. The candidate should possess a pleasant disposition, able to coordinate with site officers (engineers, builders, architects, and other workers on-site with a friendly disposition. Candidate is expected to ensure that all the electrical work done on-site is completed on time and to code. Assist in designing and implementing work schedules for the electrical staffs. Assisting in providing motivation and assistance when necessary. Assist inspecting and assessing the work done by the electrical staff. Able to read drawings, interprete design schematics to ensure the proper installation of electrical systems. Overseeing the purchasing and maintenance of the electrical equipment on-site. Ensuring the work is completed on schedule. Maintaining a safe and clean work area. Able to work on alternate sundays. * Must possess Diploma in Civil Engineering.
